Ask for the clinician’s name, credential, license details, and active NPI when applicable. Verify the information through the relevant licensing or provider registry.
Records review and rationale
Find out whether the clinician reads your records and cites them specifically. The final opinion should explain the medical reasoning, not just repeat your summary.
Transparent price and timeline
Get the fee, what it includes, the expected turnaround, and the point at which the timeline starts in writing.
A real process, not a promise
A clinician can explain their process and qualifications. They cannot honestly guarantee approval, a rating, or a favorable outcome before reviewing the evidence.
Pause before paying
